How to enable Hyper-V

Introduction

This article will walk through the installation of Hyper-V on Windows 10. Hyper-V is the native Windows hypervisor or virtual machine manager (VMM) used to create virtual machines.

Procedure

1. Open Control Panel and click Programs
   
   
   
   
2. Click Turn Windows features on or off
   
   
   
   
3. Enable the Hyper-V feature by selecting the checkbox
   
   
   
   Note: If the checkbox is filled after selecting it, expand it to review the error.
   
   
   
   
4. Follow the prompt to restart the computer
   
   
   
   
5. Verify that Hyper-V Manager is now installed
